“Russians and Serbs forever brothers,” “No surrender,” and “Kosovo is Serbia”—these Serbian nationalist, propagandistic, and threatening graffiti in cyrillic script were found on Wednesday in northern Mitrovica.
They were placed in the courtyard of the technical school in North Mitrovica.
Such graffiti has appeared in northern Kosovo from time to time. Among them was the threatening inscription “When the army returns to Kosovo”.
There have been local and international reactions to all of this, but certain groups of Serbs, often with the support of Russians, have tried to create insecurity in this part of the country in such ways./The Geopost
