After Poland imposed sanctions against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, the Lithuanian authorities decided to blacklist him. In addition to Dodik, the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska (RS), Radovan Viskovic, and the Speaker of the RS Parliament, Nenad Stevandic, were also sanctioned.
The information was published on the official website of the Migration Department of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania.
Lithuania imposed the sanctions after the Poles decided to ban Dodik from entering, staying and transiting through the country.
Earlier, Austrian and German authorities, imposed sanctions for violating Bosnia and Herzegovina’s constitutional order.
