Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in an interview with CNN, labeled the actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine as war crimes.
"His horrific crimes that we are all seeing taking place in Eastern Ukraine are definitely war crimes and it is up to investigators to prove these crimes against humanity and this genocide," Kurti told CNN.
"I think that Putin should sooner or later appear before the International War Crimes Tribunal."
Kurti reiterated Kosovo's support for Ukraine, and added that this country should receive more assistance from NATO.
"Ukraine needs more help from NATO and we have supported Ukraine's effort from the beginning."
