The Americans insist that there is no clear evidence of the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine's borders and that Putin could attack it at any moment, Gazeta Metro reports.
The US still insists that a Russian attack on Ukraine is very likely and is not budging from its position that all remaining Americans should leave Ukraine. Even the US Embassy has been evacuated from Kiev to Lviv.
Christina Kvien, the US ambassador to Ukraine, admitted that the Americans destroyed sensitive documents and removed computer servers before leaving the Ukrainian capital.
Asked in an interview with Fox News whether Putin was bluffing with the threat to invade Ukraine, the ambassador said: "I'm afraid not."
She also stressed that there is no evidence of a withdrawal of Russian troops near Ukraine and that over 150.000 military forces are still ready for attack.
President Biden and Secretary Blinken recently stated that a Russian attack is possible and have asked Russia to calm the situation by withdrawing troops.
