Gynen Venhari

Gynen Venhari is a seasoned media executive and journalist with over a decade of experience in international relations, diplomacy, and media management. Currently serving as the CEO and Editor of The Geopost, a prominent geopolitical news platform, Gynen leads strategic content creation and research on global security issues, including the impact of Russian and Chinese influence in the Balkans.

Xhelal Neziri

Xhelal Neziri is an experienced investigative reporter, analyst and trainer. He holds a Master Degree in Communication Science and wrote his thesis on the presence of investigative journalism in printed media in North Macedonia. Since 2018, Xhelal is a PhD Candidate in Political Science in the program “Democracy in era of globalization”.

He started to work as a journalist in 2000 in a daily newspaper and thereafter worked for several North Macedonian, regional and international media outlets. In 2006 and 2007, Xhelal coordinated, edited and co-authored two cross-border investigative stories, which won prizes for best investigative stories.

Since 2008, he has been representing the Danish SCOOP project in North Macedonia and coordinating national and trans-national investigative stories. In 2011, Neziri was one of the co-founders of the first Center for Investigative Journalism in North Macedonia (SCOOP) and their first President. He has served in this position until May 2019.

Since 2021, Xhelal has been an Editor at the regional web portal TheGeopost, he is also the President of the BIRC Institute, Investigative Editor at SCOOP-Macedonia, and an analyst for several local and regional media outlets. At the international level, he is a member of the International Advisory Board at the Journalismfund.eu, which is based in Brussels, and a member of Global Initiative Network of Experts.

Lyudmila Makei - Editor, Ukrainian language

Liudmyla Makei, freelance journalist (Ukraine), lives and works in Pristina due to the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, a participant in the professional protection program “Residence in Kosovo”.

Liudmyla cooperates with the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, publications lithuaniatributubri.com (Lithuania), opendemocracy.net (Great Britain), genevasolutions.news (Switzerland), Dron media (Ukraine) and others, writes about the war in Ukraine and about Ukrainians affected by the war (analysis, articles, interviews, etc.). A special topic is the experience of the Balkan countries and Kosovo, in particular, in the rehabilitation of victims of sexual violence during the war. Other topics: gender politics and women’s leadership, culture and society. Hobbies: painting, Petrykivka art, playing the piano and singing, traveling.

Tetiana Kraselnykova – Journalist, Ukrainian language

Tetiana has Master’s degree in journalism from Dnipropetrovsk National University in 2011.
She has worked at Kremenchuk Gazeta and Slovo Pridnestrovya as a correspondent from 2014 to 2018.

In 2020, won in the nomination “Best Publication in Print Media” in the Poltava Regional Competition, Journalist of the Year.

In 2014, she received a special award of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine of the All-Ukrainian competition of journalistic materials “It’s profitable to be healthy!” Winner of the 5th Literary Competition named after Pavlo Naniev “Bessarabian Lira” (2013).
