Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova is disinformation that the European Union, Brussels, is interfering in Serbia's internal affairs, including the formation of the new government.
Zakharova said:
"This is an excellent opportunity for representatives of the European Union, including those we just talked about, as well as for their colleagues, to send a strong protest to themselves for interfering in the internal affairs of a sovereign state - namely Serbia. This is the first thing. And secondly, what I think you already know, we will build mutually beneficial relations in the spirit of partnership and the traditional interest of our people with that country. The formation of the government in Serbia, this question should not be asked by us, not by Moscow," Zakharova said.

Analyze:
The European Union has a legitimate right to comment on the democratic processes in Serbia, as it is a candidate country and is participating in the accession negotiations. The EU reacts to phenomena such as electoral irregularities, undemocratic practices and restrictions on media freedom – which is in line with the European values and standards that Serbia has voluntarily accepted.
The changes in Serbian government came after the collapse of part of a train station shelter in Novi Sad, which killed 16 people. This led to student protests in Serbia, which led to the resignation of Prime Minister Miloš Vucevic and the mayor of Novi Sad, Milan Đurić.

While Zakharova accuses Brussels of alleged interference, at the same time she admits that negotiations on a new contract for Russian gas are taking place behind closed doors, without public scrutiny.
