Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić's advisor, Miloš Vučević, has distorted the truth by saying that the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is allegedly "threatening with weapons" and that he is "trying to escalate the conflict and ignite the Western Balkans region."
What Vučević said:
"The formation of military alliances targeting Serbia is reminiscent of what was done in the 1990s, and when everything is seen from a historical perspective, it is clear what is being prepared and that it is being done against the Serbian people. And Albin Kurti is the standard-bearer of such genocidal policies against the Serbian people, and not only does he not hide it, but he even boasts about it," Vučević wrote on the social network "X", regarding Kurti's announcement that a joint military unit of the KSF with the Armed Forces of Albania will be created.

"And again we have the silence of the international community, before whose eyes and ears Kurti declares a new war holiday. And again we have the so-called Pristina authorities who are seriously violating UN Security Council Resolution 1244," he continued.
This claim by Vučević was published by the Kosovo Online portal.

Such statements aimed at misinforming citizens through misinterpretation of Kurti's statements once again demonstrate Serbia's malicious claims against Kosovo.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said on Sunday that “we will create a joint military unit with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.” There is no threat or warlike language in this sentence. At no point did he threaten or make any claims to destabilize the region.
Kurti spoke about military cooperation with Albania, which is normal practice between partner states, but Vučević presented it as a threat.
In conclusion, Vučević's statements constitute a clear manipulation of the facts, as there are no facts to support his claims. Kurti has not called for violence or war, but has only announced a form of military cooperation between the two neighboring states.
In fact, the intensification of Kosovo-Albania cooperation in the field of defense is considered a guarantee of stability.
Otherwise, this is not the first time that Serbian officials have manipulated the facts. Through such claims, Vučević is trying to present Kosovo as a destabilizing party, in order to gain sympathy or neutrality from the great powers.
Serbia is using this rhetoric to divert attention from domestic problems, where numerous protests are taking place against the regime of Aleksandar Vučić. /The Geopost/
