Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has increased the coordination of activities with the Russian Federation during the last days, with special emphasis on the coordination of destabilizing efforts in the north of the Republic of Kosovo.

On September 23th, 2022, on the sidelines of the UN Assembly, an agreement was signed between Russia and Serbia, aimed at foreign policy coordination, writes The Geopost.
In this context, after consultations between Russia and Serbia, the latter decided to turn to NATO/KFOR in Kosovo, with a request for the return of military forces.

Appointment of Aleksandar Vulin Director of BIA
The appointment of Aleksandar Vulin as Director of the BIA has opened the doors for further growth of Russian influence within the Serbian service, based on Vulin’s close ties with Russia’s high political and security structures.
The realization of Serbian-Russian subversive operations in the region is now higher than ever. The “Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center” can be used for this purpose as well. Vulin, in addition to direct ties with Russia, is also known for promoting the regional destabilizing project “The Serbian World”.
The Wagner paramilitary organization opens a representative office in Serbia
At a time when Serbia is aiming to escalate the security situation in the region, starting with northern Kosovo, a subsidiary of the Russian paramilitary organization Wagner, well known for its atrocities being committed in Ukraine, has opened its representation in Serbia.
Wagner has announced that it has set up a “cultural and information” center in Belgrade. Their announcement emphasizes that “we are looking forward to presenting the new office of the PMC Wagner Center “Serbo-Russian Cultural and Information Center of Friendship and Cooperation Orly”, whose representative is appointed Aleksander Lisov.
The threatening activity of Russian-Serbian extremist organizations is increasing
Serbian and Russian nationalist extremist organizations are increasing cooperation with Russian extremist organizations in Russia, including the Wagner group. Some of these organizations from Serbia, such as “People’s Patrols”, “Serbian Action”, “Serbian Right”, have visited Russia, including the training centers of Russian extremist groups, providing support as well as receiving support for advancing the Serbian extremists’ goals in the region.
These groups advocate for “denazification and demilitarization of the Balkans by Serbia” / “The Serbian World” according to the “Russian World” model.
The Serbian and Russian chauvinist groups are calling and holding mobilizing protests in Serbia and beyond, with the aim of attacking Kosovo, NATO, the USA and the EU.
These groups have called a protest to be held in 18th of December, 2022, at Jarinje, with the message: “There are no borders, Kosovo is Serbia”.
Night Wolves appear in the north of Kosovo
On 15th of December, the paramilitary group “Wolves of the Night”, with direct ties and being financially supported by Putin, released a threatening video in the north of Kosovo, in support of the Serbs and the barricades.
The Serbian paramilitary groups that are financed and directed by Serbia in the north of Kosovo have lost the support of the local Serbs, who are overwhelmed by the difficult life, pressure from criminal groups, attacks, burning of cars, murders (Oliver Ivanovic), blocking of roads, instrumentalization and systematic pressure.
Hey @markodjuric, “Night Wolves” of #Russia 🇷🇺are at the barricades of Serbs 🇷🇸in Rudare – #Kosovo 🇽🇰. Is this video another propaganda of Kosovo ?! #Serbia 🇷🇸and Russia🇷🇺 are investing heavily in the destabilization of Kosovo🇽🇰 and 🇧🇦🇲🇪🇲🇰🇦🇱! pic.twitter.com/ZrEyjqZXAM

For the reasons mentioned above, the local Serbs are reluctant to go to barricades. Those who become part of barricades structures are either paid or threatened.
Serbia, in this case Vucic, in order to increase the pressure on Kosovo, NATO, the USA and the EU, has increased the coordination of activities with the Russians, who are now present at the barricades, propaganda campaigns, organizing protests and perhaps preparing terrorist attacks in cooperation with the Serbian paramilitary and state organizations. /The Geopost/
