The “radical news service Laufer” has published a statement on Vojislav Šešelj’s YouTube channel, in which the privacy of the family of the President of the European Movement of Serbs from Kosovo, Rada Trajković, is invaded, their employment, their marital status are discussed, and all this in a campaign that is irresistibly reminiscent of the discrediting and demonisation of the murdered Oliver Ivanović, which preceded the murder itself, which is still unsolved.
Lawyer Božo Prelević tells our newspaper that ” Laufer himself is a Vojvoda”.
And in his books when there was “Laufer finds out”, in fact he is Laufer. It is a service that is in charge of marketing mostly the wrong things. These inaccuracies will then be picked up by the state tabloids and further processed, says Prelević.
This announcement by the “Association of the Radical Laufer Information Service (RIS LAUFER)” was posted on the YouTube channel of radical president Vojislav Šešelj, whose party announced the registration of this “information service” a few days ago. The Vice-President of the SRS, Vjerica Radeta, is registered as a representative of this citizens’ association in the Agency for Business Registers, Danas learned upon consulting this register.
In a press release, the radicals state that they are providing “interesting information about Aleksandra Trajković Knap”, the daughter of Rada Trajković, and give it a supposed exclusivity with the caveat that it “is not fully publicly available”.
Incidentally, the radicals publicly boasted a few days ago about the registration of “Laufer” in the Agency for Business Registers, and SRS vice-president Vjerica Radeta was registered as a representative of this citizens’ association in the APR.
Radicals write who she is married to and where she is allegedly employed by the daughter of this politician who has already been targeted by both Seselj and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who called her, recently an advisor in the Government of Kosovo, “the worst Serbian scum from the bottom”. But the radicals are also dealing with her second daughter Biljana and son Dejan, and there is also talk about their alleged international connections, that is, their connection with NATO, in the tone with which they want to discredit Trajković and her family. The note mentions that the politician’s daughter lives in London, and our interlocutor says that the radical news service would also have a lot to say about the advisers to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, from Gerhard Schroeder to Tony Blair.
If this should bother us, it is interesting that they have never spoken out about Vucic’s advisers. I think the fact that you work in a company outside makes you so compromised that you would paint a picture of your mother living and working in Kosovo, adds Prelević.
Trajkovic, who is also an adviser to Kosovo’s Minister of Communities and Returns, was detained on Thursday at the Merdare crossing as she was returning from Kosovo, where she had met with US Ambassador Hovenier. She was detained at the crossing for more than 20 hours by the Serbian MUP and, due to her deteriorating health condition, was taken by ambulance to Prokuplje, from where she was sent for home treatment.
This was Trajković’s second detention, having been detained at the same crossing point the day before when she was on her way to Pristina to meet the US Ambassador.
Somehow, it seems to me that this is intended to counteract the fact that you detained the sick woman at the administrative crossing. This experience has become, in a way, tragically justified by these ‘realisations’. It is therefore justified to maltreat parents whose children, as their information service claims, are collaborating with certain occupiers of Serbia. And when you look at it, you see that it is exactly the same font and matrix as it was for Oliver Ivanovic, says Prelević.
Oliver Ivanović, the leader of the Civic Initiative Freedom, Justice, Democracy, was killed from behind in front of his initiative’s premises, and the as yet unexplained murder was preceded by a heartfelt campaign on the regime’s Pink channel, as well as on local television “Most” in Kosovo.
Ivanovic is accused in the video of being a traitor who cares more about his car being blown up by a bomb than about the Serbs from Kosovo, but other accusations are also levelled at him. To this day, it is not known who exactly paid for this video to be broadcast on PINK, but it is clear from the photo from TV MOST that it was “Srpska Lista” that ordered the video to be broadcast on this television station.
Since then, various opposition political representatives of Kosovo Serbs, that is to say, those who are not part of the Serbian List, have been accused of being ‘Kurti’s’, or rather ‘Tachi’s’ or ‘Haradin’s Serbs’, traitors, or, as President Vucic would say, ‘scum from the bottom of the bucket’.
The last in line was Dusan Milunovic, the only Serb councillor in the new Assembly of the Municipality of Severna Mitrovica after the release of the Serbian List, preceded by insults directed at Rada Trajkovic and at Kosovo Government Minister Nenad Rašić, whose adviser Trajkovic is. It was to them that Vucic applied the insult in question when he included the regime’s Pink, on the same day that they were appointed to the government of Albin Kurti, after the Serbian List had left it.
When Oliver Ivanovic was killed, my first reaction, and this was reported by Danas, was that the Cyrillic alphabet was recognisable. Today, a few years after the murder, they are trying to spin that Oliver Ivanović was killed by members of the Montenegrin mafia and so on. It is clear that the murder of Oliver Ivanović and the threats against Rada Trajković came from the same kitchen and were written in the same script. I would like them to stop their slandering and not go one step further, as in the case of Oliver Ivanović, says Prelević.
He sees these actions as “Serbs defending Serbs in Kosovo”.
This shows the continuity of how Serbs defend Serbs in Kosovo by persecuting Serbs from Kosovo. The principle is – we will only defend our Serbs from Kosovo. You only have to look at whose documents and whose plates Rada Trajkovic has, and you will see a significant difference compared with those on the Serb list. I understand that they resent her as someone who is ruining the whole story for them, so that they can expel and insert Serbs from the Kosovo Government whenever they feel like it. I do not know whether the move by Rada Trajković and Nenad Rašić is a good one or not, I am not saying that it is wrong, but since I do not know the circumstances, I would not be in a position to judge. But it is terrible if you do not accept that you are being taken in by somebody who has party interests, that you are a bad Serb. And she and Oliver are bad Serbs, because it is known that Serbs defend the SNS and the SRS only when they need it. Now, before the New Year for packages, I find what the SRS Information Service has done a great way to raise money before the New Year packages, says Prelević.
The “Laufer” behaviour was commented on by Boris Tadić, former two-term President of Serbia and President of the Social Democratic Party, who told Danas that the regime of Aleksandar Vucic had returned Serbia to the time of Šešelj’s “Laufers”, when Zoran Đinđić was killed.
The Vucic regime has taken us back to the time of Šešelj’s ‘lauferi’, when Zoran Đinđić was killed. After the assassination of Oliver Ivanović, the same methodology of targeting political opponents continues. First, Šešelj virtually announced the murder of Rada Trajković in the pro-regime media without any sanction, and now his party is directly targeting her children, Tadić told Danas.
The former President of Serbia added that he has been warning for years that Šešelj’s ideology is in power in Serbia. According to Tadić, this ideology is more represented in the government than Vucic or any other individual who, he claims, is only a follower of this “monstrous ideology”.
Citizens must understand that what is being done to Rada Trajkovic and her family is being done to all citizens of Serbia, because the regime that is carrying out this torture is a regime that is managing the lives of all citizens. This is not a question of a political struggle, but of a civilisational one, and therefore we must all stand up against this madness together and with all means. In a country where institutions are occupied, the lives and safety of the regime’s dissidents must be defended by the public, and it is therefore vital that we all raise our voices, says Tadić./Danas/
