Serbian professor disinforms: In Mitrovica square, Albanians are harassing Serbian girls, women and elderly people

Boris Bratina, a professor from the Faculty of Philosophy in Mitrovica, has disinformed that allegedly in the square in North Mitrovica, Albanians are harassing Serbian women, girls and elderly people. This false statement was published by the Serbian media outlet “Informer”, which also disinformed that Prime Minister Albin Kurti wants to change the ethnic structure in North Mitrovica.

What did Bratina declare?

“In Mitrovica, it seems as if Albanians are on a third of that promenade and then they harass women, girls and especially elderly people. They behave very shamelessly. There is a kind of cafe war. They sit in one cafe and we in another. The presence of Albanians in North Mitrovica was dictated. Kurti wants to make the north such that there is an Albanian population that would be there to play tricks on the population that would oppose the Serbs. Of course it is not possible. They want to settle where they do not belong, to get something for nothing at the expense of the Serbs”.

Analysis:

Bratina has disinformed about alleged harassment of Serbian women with the aim of inciting a situation of panic and fear among the people. In the squares of North Mitrovica, nothing like what Bratina says has ever been recorded, who has made the statement without any basis.

Currently, the Kosovo Police has increased its presence in North Mitrovica due to the terrorist attack that occurred on the Ibër Lepenc water canal. This increased presence due to increased security is being used by Serbian officials and other protagonists to disinform about alleged violence against the Serbian people.

Western countries have given full support to the Kosovo authorities in shedding light on the terrorist case and bringing to justice the perpetrators who carried out this attack on a vital canal for drinking water for several areas and also on the Kosovo Energy Corporation.

Kosovo Police has asked Serbian citizens to cooperate with the police on this case that has also affected that part of the country and has called on them not to be concerned by these actions because none of the innocent citizens will be prosecuted.
