The Serbian Government, through its Office for Kosovo, has disinformed today that there has been terror and brutality against Serbs in Kosovo. It also said that Serb properties are being illegally confiscated in northern Kosovo.
What did the Serbian Government declare?
The so-called Office of the Serbian Government for Kosovo accused “the authorities in Pristina of drastic and brutal terror against Serbs and their institutions in northern Kosovo. It is about the continuation of the brutal and illegal confiscation of Serbian property in northern Kosovo.
It is clear that Albin Kurti is trying at all costs to further destabilize the situation in northern Kosovo, before the elections, and is trying to force a reaction from Serbs that would serve as an excuse to prevent the Srpska List from participating in the elections. Serbs will fight against the violence they are exposed to and the complete annulment of human rights with all legitimate political and democratic methods”.
Analysis:
The Serbian government has disinformed about brutality against Serbs when today the Kosovo Police closed a parallel institution in North Mitrovica that has collected payments from numerous citizens and businesses for the use of facilities that are supposedly under their management. During this police action, no one was intimidated or attacked as the Serbian Government claims.
Two public enterprises that operated in the Serbian system in North Mitrovica – the Directorate for Residential and Business Space and the Directorate for Construction Land – were closed on December 26.
In the footage published by the Kosovo Police, photographs of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Serbian emblems and other things were found.
