Russian military expert disinforms about the existence of Western biological laboratories near the border

Igor Nikulin, a Russian military expert and former member of the UN Commission on Biological Weapons, has disinformed that there are Western biological laboratories near the Russian border waging undeclared biological warfare against Russia and its allies.

Nikulin said:

“There are dozens of Western biological laboratories near Russia’s borders, and an undeclared biological war is being waged against Russia and its allies,” warns Igor Nikulin, a Russian military expert. The United States of America and its satellites – the United Kingdom and the European Union – have operated at least 60 such laboratories in recent years.

Analysis:

The laboratories referred to by the Russian authorities are in fact laboratories that have various systems for filtering air, gases, chemicals and water before they are released into the environment. They also concern the cooperation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with German experts from the BNITM, the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg, with the aim of improving the monitoring and diagnosis of diseases such as Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever.

On the other hand, there are still numerous, mostly military, nuclear, medical and chemical research laboratories in Russia, and international experts agree that security in these laboratories is “below average”. It is mainly carried out in the old Soviet laboratories of the same purpose, some of which have since been modernized.

The US ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas Greenfield, rejected the accusations about the laboratories and said that Ukraine had no program to develop biological weapons./The Geopost/
