Russian propaganda is not a new phenomenon. It is a well-known and disturbing phenomenon.
Some of the ways the Kremlin uses to spread disinformation are through Russian-sponsored media as well as various social media sites.
The Russian Embassy in South Africa, through its page on the social network “Twitter”, serves the Kremlin to spread disinformation.
This site has more than 100 thousand followers, whom it ‘feeds’ with propaganda.
The Geopost has found some posts within this site which do not constitute anything real but are intended to disinform.
The NATO bombings in Belgrade, that helped stop another genocide that was taking place in Europe, this site has presented quite differently.
Initially, the picture they chose to post is completely different from the truth. It is the photo that was taken in Baghdad, while the Russian Embassy in South Africa says that they were in Serbia.
We took note of one of the most commonly used wording in the media these days about Russian military operation “is the largest conventional military attack that's been seen since WWII”. One question: what about NATO bombings of Yugoslavia? Wasn’t that in Europe? #DoubleStandards pic.twitter.com/b0PvC5SU2j

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in his next propaganda, says that the Stingers and Javelins weapons are being sent to Ukraine from Albania and Kosovo.
🇷🇺FM #Lavrov: It would be a good idea to find out, exactly, where the weapons now available in Ukraine have gone to – Stingers & Javelins. They are on the black market. Some have surfaced in Albania and Kosovo. The weapons are resold at a discount. The black market is growing pic.twitter.com/30TVcDIpre

The Albanian refugee, Sherife Luta, who left Kosovo due to the Serbian genocide, this page has presented as a Serbian refugee, saying that “NATO brought death and destruction of Yugoslavia”.
