During the last three months, Belgrade started with the practical implementation of the “Serbian World” with the destabilization of Montenegro, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Kosovo Minister of the European Integration, Blerim Reka, wrote in a Facebook post.
Serbian “church diplomacy”, supported by the Russian intelligence and the Chinese Slavic credits, almost bankrupt Montenegro. The Russian ambassador to Belgrade monitored the deployment of the Serbian army to the Kosovo’s northern border, while Russia and China continued to block UN’s Kosovo membership.
The same Russian-Chinese duo at the UN Security Council last week backed Dodik against the international presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, without reacting at all to his plans of seperating Republika Srpska from the Federation and starting a new war.
The alarm raised in Washington was also understood by Brussels, which yesterday published the 10-year security strategy, “EU Strategic Compass”, where Russia and China qualify as a threat to the EU.
However, this does not stop Serbia, the pet of the EU, which, although negotiating membership with the EU, has already joined Putin’s Eurasian Union and that with EU funds, pays the Chinese company for the construction of Budapest-Belgrade railway.
How can Brussels negotiate with Serbia, when the latter clearly defends the Russian-Chinese strategic alliance?
Next week, Vucic will meet with Putin in Moscow to receive new instructions. It then goes on to negotiate membership with the EU.
