The Serbian medium “Informer” has disinformed about the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, that he allegedly wants to usurp the Gracanica Monastery without any basis. In an article falsely claiming that “terror is being perpetrated against Serbs”, Kurti was referred to as a terrorist.
What did the “Informer” report?
“Prime Minister Albin Kurti went one step further in terrorizing Serbs in Kosovo and now wants to usurp the Gracanica monastery and falsely accuse Serbian churches and monasteries of carrying out illegal and terrorist activities. Accordingly, the Pristina authorities, under the leadership of the extremist and terrorist Albin Kurti, are doing everything to prove that illegal activities are being carried out at the Serbian holy sites on the territory of Kosovo and have now also attacked the Gracanica monastery. This shows that Banjska and Gracanica are monasteries that have become places of illegal and terrorist activities because, as they say, the dinar circulates freely in them as currency. In order to spread hatred and ethnic and religious instability on the territory of Kosovo, Prishtina tries every day to designate Serbian holy sites as places where illegal activities are carried out, and now goes one step further and claims that the use of dinar in Gracanica is prohibited are terrorist acts and illegal activities, although the only official currency on the territory of Serbia is exclusively the dinar and not the euro!”
Analysis:
The Serbian media “Informer” has disinformed that the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti wants to usurp the Gracanica Monastery. The constitution of Kosovo guarantees the right of every minority to perform religious rites at their respective places of worship, including the Serbian community. All of Kosovo’s leaders are committed to its implementation without distinction.
The “Informer” deliberately disinforms against Prime Minister Albin Kurti after it was reported in the Kosovo media that euros were being exchanged for dinars in the Gracanica monastery, although Kurti made no statement about this monastery.
Meanwhile, evidence of weapons and ammunition collected for the terrorist attack on September 24, 2023, in which a Kosovo police officer was killed, was found around the monastery in Banjska. Kosovo Police had held a media conference at the time where they presented a large arsenal of weapons of various types and calibers, uniforms and logistical equipment seized during the police operation. The police said they had been used by Serbian terrorists against the police. Prior to the attack, British MP Alicia Kearns had warned about these weapons and raised the alarm that Serbian monasteries were being used to collect weapons./The Geopost/
