The far-right French politician Nicolas Bay, who is also a member of the European Parliament, has insulted the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army through several videos.
Bay, through a video published from the bridge in the city of Mitrovica, calls the KLA terrorists.
“Here at the Mitrovica bridge, the Christian Serbs defended their territory from the attacks of the Albanian terrorists of the KLA”, he writes on Twitter.

The extremist MP continued with the unprecedented and racist language saying that Serbian churches have been replaced by mosques.
“In this country of Europe, churches have been replaced by mosques, while Western governments have had their attention on the other side,” he adds with another video.
Prizren, ville européenne et ancienne ville des rois de Serbie, est aujourd’hui occupée par les Albanais musulmans.

During the meeting with Sava Janjic in the Monastery of Decan, Bay said that the presence of Serbian monks there is more than eight centuries.
After his statements, there have been numerous reactions from politicians and civil society representatives.
The former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Petrit Selimi, said that Bay’s statement is racist of the type of Vladimir Putin and Slobodan Milosevic.
“What an absurd statement, a lie and a racist attitude. Surely Prizren is European, but you Nicolas are certainly not. You belong to the Putinist, Milosevician world of darkness and death. Go and ask for forgiveness in the Cathedral of St. Mother Teresa, the Albanian saint”, says Selim’s reaction.

According to former ambassador Edon Cana, this politician should be declared non-grata by the Government of Kosovo, after such statements.
“The monastery of Decan with Sava Janjic is an inseparable symbiosis of the European extreme right. This is shameful and should be condemned immediately by our government. Furthermore, why is this person not already on the persona non-grata list. Deportation and public punishment must happen now,” Cana writes.

French far-right MP Nicolas Bay has been banned by the European Parliament from making official election-monitoring trips after he took part in several missions to Russia in the run-up to Russian military aggression in Ukraine.
This ban will last until the end of his term, i.e. until 2024. /The Geopost/
