Dodik disinforms: Croatia committed genocide against Serbs, there was civil war in Srebrenica

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has once again denied the genocide in Srebrenica, even though the UN has officially recognized it. He falsely informed that there was a civil war there and said that Serbia did not have a military unit in Srebrenica, while accusing Croatia of committing genocide against the Serbian people.

“Having supported the resolution on Srebrenica, Croatia must remain silent, because it was the country that committed the undeniable genocide against the Serbian people.” Of course, Croatia actively participated in the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, unlike Serbia, which had no military units on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

The brutal killings of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica by the Republika Srpska army have been recognized as genocide by the International Criminal Court (ICJ) and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). More than 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys in and around the town of Srebrenica were separated from their families and tortured, killed and massacred by Serb forces because they were Bosniaks. They were unarmed civilians who were crushed by the Serbian army. Therefore, by denying the genocide, Dodik informs that there was a civil war there and that there were no Serbian army units there either, while the data documented by credible international institutions and organizations proved the opposite. The killings were carried out by units of the Bosnian Serb Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) under the command of Ratko Mladić. The Scorpions, a paramilitary unit from Serbia that was part of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior until 1991, also took part in the massacre.
