The Director of the Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy in Serbia, Arno Gujon, has published a graphic in which he disinforms that the property of Serbs in Kosovo has been “illegally” expropriated in order to establish bases for the Kosovo Police Special Forces.
Gujon said:
“If you are a Serb, you have no right to own property in Kosovo. Look at how the extremist Albanian regime in Kosovo is forcibly and illegally taking land from Serb farmers to build bases for repressive mono-ethnic forces in the north of this province of Serbia,” Gujon wrote.

Analysis:
Arno Gujon is known for using his role in Serbia to promote pro-Serb rhetoric, often based on inaccurate information. His statement about the alleged “illegal expropriation of Serbian property” in Kosovo is another example of how he tries to portray the Kosovo authorities as aggressive, illegal and hostile towards the Serbian community.
The Kosovo government has made it clear that the expropriation of the land is in accordance with the law and that each owner of the land has received notification and compensation as stipulated by law. According to the government, these measures are part of a broader plan to strengthen the security infrastructure, which is crucial in the fight against criminal groups in the north of the country.
