The company "Super Ego Holding", headquartered in Illinois, United States of America, has recently been in the media spotlight due to a series of allegations and controversies related to its operation and possible political connections.
According to Nova's reporting, this company, which operates in the transport and logistics sector, has been mentioned in controversial contexts, including allegations of links to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
The company has also been under scrutiny following Vučić's recent visit to Florida, which ended abruptly without any scheduled meetings. In this context, speculation has spread that the company may have been involved in purchasing an invitation to a political event at Mar-a-Lago, although these remain at the level of allegations.
"Aleksandar Vučić's recent visit to Florida, which ended unexpectedly with his return to Serbia, without any meetings with top officials, as had been announced, brought the "Super Ego" company back into the spotlight."
Meanwhile, a former employee of the company has raised serious allegations regarding its operation. In an interview, he stated that “Super Ego Holding” has experienced rapid and unusual growth, going from a few hundred trucks to over 1,500 within a few months, which, according to him, is difficult to explain without major financial support.
The same source alleges that the company engaged in abusive practices against workers, including manipulation of drivers' payments, document changes, and harsh working conditions. According to him, dispatchers allegedly submitted lower amounts for loads to profit from the difference.
Reports also speak of a network of interconnected companies, which open and close to avoid controls, as well as the use of false identities by some employees for the purpose of communicating with customers.
The company has also faced lawsuits in the United States. In 2022, a group of drivers filed a class-action lawsuit accusing the company of wage fraud, forgery of documents, and labor rights violations.
Another lawsuit was filed in 2024 by a former driver, regarding disputes over wages and compensation.
According to reports, some of these cases are under review by US authorities, while the company has denied the allegations, stating that the payments were made in accordance with the agreements.
Media attempts to obtain an official position from "Super Ego Holding" have remained unanswered so far.
The case continues to attract attention due to the nature of the allegations and potential implications, while it remains to be seen how the ongoing investigations and legal proceedings will unfold.
