Liudmyla Makei, freelance journalist (Ukraine), lives and works in Pristina due to the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, a participant in the professional protection program “Residence in Kosovo”.

Liudmyla cooperates with the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, publications lithuaniatributubri.com (Lithuania), opendemocracy.net (Great Britain), genevasolutions.news (Switzerland), Dron media (Ukraine) and others, writes about the war in Ukraine and about Ukrainians affected by the war (analysis, articles, interviews, etc.). A special topic is the experience of the Balkan countries and Kosovo, in particular, in the rehabilitation of victims of sexual violence during the war.
