Milorad Dodik came up with the idea of polling citizens on whether they agree with the decision of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Isak assessed
Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak has spoken out about the announcement of a referendum in the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska on the final decision of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the decision of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to revoke the mandate of the former president of this entity, Milorad Dodik.
Milorad Dodik and the SNSD, like all other political options, private companies, or individuals, can organize a poll as a non-binding survey to gauge people’s opinions and views. Such polls, as we all know, have no legal validity. Nor will the non-binding poll that Milorad Dodik calls a “referendum” have any legal validity. The now former president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity RS is a convicted criminal who has paid off the prison sentence imposed on him by the court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Isak states.
He believes that such moves only reveal how Milorad Dodik views his people.
In a series of moves, he participated in the proceedings, received a first-instance conviction, filed an appeal, received a second-instance conviction, and finally turned to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik came up with the idea of surveying citizens on whether they agree with the ruling of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Isak assessed and continued:
Milorad, you are the first to agree. And you should agree, because you have no other choice. The final judgments of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina are final and binding. For you as well as for every citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You are just a coward trying to hide behind the people and attribute your crazy political moves to the will of the people. In processes such as these, which you do not understand, there is no room for will. “You should have the ‘will’ to respect the law so that you do not find yourself in a situation where your house of cards collapses and your loyal allies abandon you,” Isak told Dodik.
He continued with harsh messages, mentioning Aleksandar Vučić.
You are finished, and you need to accept that. Go to Serbia. Become an advisor to Aleksandar Vučić, with whom you are surely coordinating your moves. You will certainly not go hungry. Don’t drag the people you have deeply offended into new adventures. We are aware that your moves are actually the moves of a desperate person, but we are also aware that you are willing to sacrifice your closest circle, let alone the people, in order to try to protect your criminal empire, he said and continued:
Do you want me to tell you again what will happen after the poll you call a ‘referendum’? Nothing. You may face another criminal proceeding if you dare to attack the constitutional and legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina again. You may drag some more naive people who live in delusion into criminal acts so that you can rehabilitate yourselves. Anything is possible, but in your case, nothing good. Go read books, enjoy your days off with your family, and detach yourself from the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. You have long since become a burden. And in recent months, a radioactive burden. /Oslobodjene.ba/
