The United States of America will impose comprehensive sanctions against Serbia’s oil industry (NIS) and this is due to Russian ownership, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said.
This is expected to happen soon, Vucic is quoted as saying.
“And if a company is subject to US sanctions, no one will work with it,” he added.
According to him, however, the USA has made no such decision.
“This is a geopolitical decision, a big decision.” “We have never heard that this decision was prepared by the Americans, this kind of decision was prepared by the Europeans,” he said, adding that the British would also join these sanctions.
He pointed out that it was clear why he insisted on building an oil pipeline to Hungary, but as he said, they should also talk to the Americans and Russians.
